a) Ban Dân tộc có Trưởng ban và không quá 02 Phó Trưởng ban; b) Trưởng ban là người đứng đầu Ban, chịu trách nhiệm trước Ủy ban nhân dân, Chủ tịch Ủy ban nhân dân cấp tỉnh và trước pháp luật về toàn bộ hoạt động của Ban; c) Phó Trưởng ban là người giúp Trưởng ban chỉ đạo một số mặt công tác và chịu trách nhiệm trước Trưởng ban và trước pháp luật về nhiệm vụ được phân công. Khi Trưởng ban vắng mặt hoặc khi cần thiết một Phó Trưởng ban được Trưởng ban ủy nhiệm điều hành các hoạt động của Ban; d) Việc bổ nhiệm, bổ nhiệm lại, miễn nhiệm, điều động, luân chuyển, cho từ chức, khen thưởng, kỷ luật, nghỉ hưu và thực hiện các chế độ, chính sách khác đối với Trưởng ban và Phó Trưởng ban do Chủ tịch Ủy ban nhân dân cấp tỉnh quyết định theo quy định của pháp luật.

a) The Committee for Ethnic Minorities has the Head and not more than 02 Vice Heads; b) The Head of the Committee is the head of the Committee, responsible to the People's Committee, the President of the People's Committee of the province and the law for all activities of the Committee; c) The Deputy Head of the Committee is the person who assists the Head in directing a number of working aspects and is responsible to the Head and the law for the assigned tasks. When the Head is absent or when necessary, a Vice-Head is authorized by the Head to direct the activities of the Committee; d) The appointment, re-appointment, dismissal, transfer, rotation, resignation, commendation, discipline, retirement and implementation of other regimes and policies towards the Head and Deputy Head of the Committee shall be Chairpersons of provincial-level People's Committees make decisions in accordance with law.
